all hail big sam

i wake up today to find that sam allardyce is the new blackburn manager.
oh man so many good things happen during camping.
finally paul ince is sacked and sam allardyce is brought in 27 hours later!
then i read this article on soccernet in which harry redknapp blasted blackburn's treatment of paul ince.

"What time has he had? A couple of bad results and he is out."
"Incey would have turned it around and he would have got them up to a respectable position in the league. He just needed time and obviously wasn't given time.''
he had 6 months, 17 matches. HALF A SEASON! 6 successive league defeats is not a couple of bad results.
just after ince say he will turn things around, blackburn produced their worst performance of the season and lost 3-0 to wigan. if he can turn it around, he would have done so long ago, maybe after the 1st of the 6 successive league defeats?

"We always end up giving young English managers a job where they are coming into a struggling team"
SIAO. wat struggling team. he inherited a team that finished 7th last season and turned them into the bottom 2 team with the worse defence.

and to those who said he hasn't have a chance to bring in his own players after letting bentley and friedel go.
he brought in paul robinson, grella, villanueva, danny simpson (loan) good friends keith andrews and robbie fowler. 6 players in, 2 out. not enough?

it's easy to say he should be given more time. would u be responsible should we be relegated?
I fully support the decision to sack Ince.
he left us in 19th position, with the worse defence, 6 consecutive league defeats and 6 points away from safety. any club would sack such a manager

installing big sam as a new manager gives him an opportunity to bring in some players during january, and half a season to bring us to safety.

all hail big sam! i wouldn't mind if we are the new bolton.
